LCD, LED and Plasma tv
LCD stands for Liquid Crystal Display.
Lcd tv has a liquid crystal between the display panel of the tv , and the CCFL bulds are used as the back light for this tv.
LED stands for Light emitting diode.
Led tv works on the same platform as a lcd tv , it also has the same liquid crystal between the display panel of the tv, and in led tv (light emiting diode) are used as a back light .
Plasma TV
Plasma tv works on a completely different platform, A plasma TV has a sheet of individual plasma cells, which get activated when electricity is passed to the TV.
Thus we can see that the Plasma and LCD technologies are completely different, while the difference between the LCD and LED is only the back-light, which they use.
