No need to change your mobile number, while you change your service provider.

Mobile number portability

Changing your mobile service provider, without changing your mobile number is called as MNP (Mobile number portability)

Lets see how MNP works
All you need to do is send a sms from your phone to 1900.Your present service provider will reply with a unique porting code.Use that code while filling out a detailed form for the provider you want to shift to. Within 48 hours, that company will take over all your cell services. This may cost you a meagre Rs 19.
Your mobile number will be switched off for only one hour. All bills after that are payable to your new provider. Once a subscriber ports his number to the new operator, then, he will have to wait for at least 90 days before he can change his operator again. While you can shift from a GSM service to CDMA or vice versa, you cannot shift from one state to another.
And its expected that this system would likely to be launched throught the country by the end of December.

Brain port device for visualy impaired people

BrainPort is a device that helps users ‘see’ without using their eyes. Using the BrainPort device, visual data is collected through a small digital video camera, about 1.5cm (5/8 inch) in diameter, housed in the center of a pair of sunglasses worn by the user. From there, the data is transmitted to a handheld base unit. The unit converts the digital signal into electrical pulses — replacing the retina’s function.

Lcd, led and plasma tv

LCD, LED and Plasma tv

LCD stands for Liquid Crystal Display.

Lcd tv has a liquid crystal between the display panel of the tv , and the CCFL bulds are used as the back light for this tv.

LED stands for Light emitting diode.
Led tv works on the same platform as a lcd tv , it also has the same liquid crystal between the display panel of the tv, and in led tv (light emiting diode) are used as a back light .

Plasma TV

Plasma tv works on a completely different platform, A plasma TV has a sheet of individual plasma cells, which get activated when electricity is passed to the TV.

Thus we can see that the Plasma and LCD technologies are completely different, while the difference between the LCD and LED is only the back-light, which they use.
